Forte Shades of Jay should probably lay low the next time they meet Rock Crushers. They’ve been blown out both times the teams have faced each other, this time by a final score of 123.02 to 63.80. Georgia Bullies, with “Eye of the Tiger” playing in the background, accumulated the highest score this week and beat Liberty City Outlaws 129.32 to 106.06, overcoming a 24.77-point spread. This shocker was revenge for a Week 2 112.38 to 96.35 loss to Liberty City Outlaws. Drew Brees led Liberty City Outlaws with 29.72 points while Ezekiel Elliott racked up 20.53. Georgia Bullies showed some mercy in the win, starting a player with zero points (Derrick Henry). Georgia Bullies (4-5, 917.93 points) climbs into sixth place and Liberty City Outlaws (7-2, 1,072.36 points) stays in first place.

Hulk Smash Beats NewEngland Deflators, Avenges Previous Loss

Hulk Smash got 26.28 points from Russell Wilson and 22.37 from Jay Ajayi, taking down NewEngland Deflators 124.61 to 96.62. This win was revenge for a Week 2 118.90 to 98.29 loss to NewEngland Deflators. NewEngland Deflators, coming off a 142.06 to 106.57 win against Georgia Bullies, saw their scoring fall off this week. NewEngland Deflators (5-4, 1,018.93 points) drops to fourth place and Hulk Smash (5-4, 1,018.16 points) remains in fifth place.

  • A higher score than your opponent is a guaranteed way to win each week. Thank the Toyota Hall of Fame for that valuable insight.
  • Hulk Smash appears to be some sort of fantasy prophet in the making. Antonio Gates, who was picked up by Hulk Smash, scored 11.00 points against a projected 6.41, topping his projection by 71.6%.

  • Don’t worry, NewEngland Deflators, the Toyota Hall of Fame says losing isn’t contagious. But it is embarrassing. And you should be embarrassed.
  • Missed an opportunity by leaving Marcus Mariota on the bench. He scored 32.92 points, the fifth-highest score in the league this week.
  • Mason Crosby has now failed to reach his projection for three straight games. This week he scored 8.00 points versus a projected 11.06.
  • A heated blanket would be a great gift for Coby Fleener during this cold streak. He scored below his projection in three straight games after scoring 2.80 points against a projected 4.17 this week.
  • It was not a good week for NewEngland Deflators at TE, where they were beaten 11.00 – 2.80.

Syracuse Express recorded the second-highest point total this week on the way to their third win in as many matchups when they beat Millennium Falcons 128.89 to 118.00 in a Monday night comeback. The streak has provided big momentum for Syracuse Express. They’ve climbed from fifth place to third since Week 7. They’re doing it by scoring a lot of points and they own the second-highest overall point total in the league, averaging 118.67 points per matchup. Millennium Falcons goes to 3-6 and falls to seventh place. Syracuse Express has now steamrolled Hulk Smash (114.48 to 106.82) and Rock Crushers (136.62 to 96.30).

  • What do Apache helicopters, F-117 Nighthawks and Jordy Nelson have in common? They are all dangerous aerial weapons. He ranked sixth in the league in scoring among WRs this week with 12.27 points.
