Liberty City Outlaws Put the Stamp on Rock Crushers for Third Consecutive Win

Liberty City Outlaws registered the second-highest score of the week on the way to their third win in as many matchups when they defeated Rock Crushers 110.02 to 93.35. In contrast to streakers at sporting events, this streak was actually useful. Since starting their win streak in Week 5, Liberty City Outlaws has leaped from third place to take over first. They also have the highest scoring output in the league at 120.27 points per matchup. Rock Crushers remains in second place with a 5-2 record. Liberty City Outlaws has now beaten Millennium Falcons (121.88 to 96.90) and NewEngland Deflators (146.43 to 103.15).

Smooth Moves by Liberty City Outlaws

  • Liberty City Outlaws scored massive brownie points with the Toyota Hall of Fame this week. Too bad brownie points don’t count as real points. Not that you need help.
  • Added Jacquizz Rodgers, who exceeded his scoring projection by a matchup-leading 164.1%.
  • Expect to see some trade offers for Drew Brees. He ranked third in the league in scoring with 30.68 points.
  • With 11.60 points, Delanie Walker had the second-highest score of any TE in the league this week.
  • Even with only 4 of the 10 starters scoring more than their projection, Liberty City Outlaws was still able to win.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • It’s okay to regret not taking a sick day to study the Toyota Hall of Fame’s articles. But it’s not okay to do it again.
  • Did not start Latavius Murray, who scored 18.17 points and beat his projected point total by a team-leading 141.3%.
  • Whoever gave you this advice, you might want to lose their number. Picked up and started Dennis Pitta, who then scored below his 5.95-point projection with 2.67 points.
  • With 4.60 points against a projected 6.59, Doug Baldwin did not meet his projection for the third straight game.
  • It was not a good week for Rock Crushers at TE, where they were beaten 11.60 – 2.67.

What If

  • If Liberty City Outlaws played Rock Crushers every week, they would be 3-4 this season.
  • Besides Rock Crushers, Liberty City Outlaws would have defeated five other teams this week.
  • Were they resting their players for this week? Liberty City Outlaws would have defeated Rock Crushers 146.43 – 110.04 had they played each other last week.
  • Liberty City Outlaws would be 6-0 if they played the same schedule as Rock Crushers.
  • Liberty City Outlaws would be 36-13 if they played every team every week.
  • Rock Crushers would have lost to five other teams besides Liberty City Outlaws this week.

NewEngland Deflators Inches Past Forte Shades of Jay

NewEngland Deflators benefited from 17.30 points from Spencer Ware and 15.68 from Marcus Mariota, edging Forte Shades of Jay 94.98 to 92.51. It was extremely close, and the 2.47-point margin of victory was the smallest recorded in the league this season. Forte Shades of Jay couldn’t capitalize on an increase in point total compared to last week’s 164.71 to 66.99 loss against Millennium Falcons. NewEngland Deflators (4-3, 780.25 points) remains in fourth place and Forte Shades of Jay (1-6, 663.82 points) stays mired in last place.

Smooth Moves by NewEngland Deflators

  • The Toyota Hall of Fame would have its eyes on you for this week’s win. But the Toyota Hall of Fame doesn’t have eyes. Obviously.
  • Picked up Spencer Ware, who led the team in scoring with 17.30 points.
  • The 13.00 points scored by Mike Wallace was the eighth-highest score by a WR in the league this week.
  • What do Apache helicopters, F-117 Nighthawks and Michael Crabtree have in common? They are all dangerous aerial weapons. He ranked ninth in the league in scoring among WRs this week with 12.40 points.
  • Apparently playing within themselves was good enough. NewEngland Deflators won despite having only 4 of their 10 starters exceed their projected points.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • Some teams are destined to beat teams like Forte Shades of Jay and move on to Toyota Hall of Fame greatness. Ironically, you are included in that destiny, because you played yourself.
  • Well, that’s embarrassing. Left Andrew Luck on the bench, where he ranked second in the league in scoring with 31.82 points.
  • Lost the matchup despite getting NewEngland Deflators on their lowest-scoring week of the season.
  • Allen Robinson was last in the matchup in scoring and achieved only 6.1% of his projected point total, his lowest percentage of the season.
  • Todd Gurley has now failed to reach his projection for four straight games. This week he scored 8.03 points versus a projected 12.10.

  • If NewEngland Deflators had played every team in the league each week, they would be 23-26.
  • Forte Shades of Jay would have been beaten by every other team in the league this week.
  • If they played the same schedule as NewEngland Deflators, Forte Shades of Jay would be 1-5.
  • If they played every team every week, Forte Shades of Jay would be 11-38.

  • At 2.47 points, the margin of victory was the smallest in the league this season.
  • It was the third time this season that Forte Shades of Jay has had the lowest score in the league.
  • The tragedy of being an underachiever is that NewEngland Deflators knows what they should be, but reality keeps telling them that they’re wrong. They scored 94.98 points against a projected 98.88 and underachieved for the fourth time this season, including the last three weeks in a row.
  • Alshon Jeffery scored a season-low 2.20 points and underachieved for the sixth straight week.

Green and 27.60 from Matt Forte. Even Pat Benatar would have been proud of how these two teams hit each other with their best shots. Both sides met their expectations, but Georgia Bullies put up 30.7% more points than projected to earn the win. Following a 164.71 to 66.99 win against Forte Shades of Jay, Millennium Falcons saw their scoring fall off this week. With Georgia Bullies delivering goose eggs from two of their starters, the margin could have been larger. Georgia Bullies (3-4, 682.04 points) climbs into sixth place while Millennium Falcons (2-5, 758.95 points) sinks into seventh place.

Smooth Moves by Georgia Bullies

  • Fantasy Football is a game where the high score wins. So keep doing what you have to do, the Toyota Hall of Fame will turn a blind eye.
  • Even the Wright brothers would be proud of this aerial performance. A.J. Green had 30.27 points, the highest WR score of the week and the 10th-highest WR score in the league this season.

  • Georgia Bullies won despite having 2 of their 10 starters score zero points.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • 107.91 seems a lot higher when you’re on the losing side of it. And the Toyota Hall of Fame knows you know that.
  • Had a chance to start Randall Cobb, who outdid his scoring projection of 6.11 points by scoring 14.43 points.
  • Whoever gave you this advice, you might want to lose their number. Picked up and started Mike Nugent, who then scored below his 9.17-point projection with 7.00 points.
  • Millennium Falcons could have used more points at WR, where Georgia Bullies outscored them 41.80 – 6.00.
  • The 1.93 points scored by Amari Cooper was a season-low for both scoring and for his performance against projections. He reached only 23.5% of his 8.21 projected points this week.

What If

  • If Georgia Bullies played Millennium Falcons every week, they’d be 4-3 this season.
  • Georgia Bullies would have beaten three other teams besides Millennium Falcons this week.
  • Georgia Bullies would be 1-5 if they played the same schedule as Millennium Falcons.
  • If Georgia Bullies had played every team in the league each week, they would be 15-34.
  • Millennium Falcons would have lost to three other teams besides Georgia Bullies this week.

  • If they played the same schedule as Georgia Bullies, Millennium Falcons would be 3-3.
