Rock Crushers Punishes Liberty City Outlaws, Evens Up the Series

Bilal Powell, whose 33.77 points were the third-highest point total by a player this week, carried Rock Crushers past Liberty City Outlaws 118.37 to 72.66. Rock Crushers put in the work and now they can relax and look forward to the playoffs, because they are in there like swimwear. These two teams are tied for fourth place with 9-5 records, but it doesn’t tell the whole story, as Liberty City Outlaws has a clear points lead, 1,617.47 to 1,552.87. A win is a win, but this one tastes just a bit sweeter for Rock Crushers who gets revenge for a 110.02 to 93.35 loss to Liberty City Outlaws in Week 7.

Smooth Moves by Rock Crushers

  • Even if you cried trying to win, you still won. And the Toyota Hall of Fame is proud of Rock Crushers either way.
  • Picked up Bilal Powell, who had the most points in the matchup and beat his scoring projection by 279.9%.
  • We won’t judge you if you want to bow to Lamar Miller. He ranked 10th in the league in scoring with 22.70 points.
  • Made a good move in sitting Rashad Jennings this week. He brought in 5.30 points, the fewest of any RB on the team.
  • The 21.30 points scored by Latavius Murray was the sixth-highest score of any RB in the league this week.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • Next week, be sure to ask Rock Crushers where official Toyota Hall of Fame articles are kept.
  • Did not start the Carolina Panthers Defense, which ranked ninth in the league in scoring and beat their scoring projection by 159.0%, the eighth-highest percentage in the league.
  • Should have started Philip Rivers, who underachieved, but still outscored the starting QB with 7.44 against a projected 20.41.
  • Dez Bryant was last in the league in scoring and had a season-low -2.33 points.
  • The RBs for Liberty City Outlaws got outscored 77.77 – 30.97 by the RBs for Rock Crushers.

What If

  • If Rock Crushers played Liberty City Outlaws every week, they would be 7-7 this season.
  • Besides Liberty City Outlaws, Rock Crushers would have defeated four other teams this week.
  • Rock Crushers would be 7-5 if they played the same schedule as Liberty City Outlaws.
  • Rock Crushers would be 58-40 if they played every team every week.
  • Liberty City Outlaws would have lost to five other teams besides Rock Crushers this week.

  • Liberty City Outlaws would be 11-1 if they played the same schedule as Rock Crushers.

  • Although Rock Crushers won, it was no thanks to Greg Olsen, who scored 5.80 points and has now scored below his projection in five straight weeks.

  • Fantasy Football is a game where the high score wins. So keep doing what you have to do, the Toyota Hall of Fame will turn a blind eye.

  • Do you put a LB or DB on him? You might have to put both on him if this continues. Travis Kelce scored 11.73 points to rank second among TEs in the league this week.
  • With only 4 of their 10 starters beating their projected points, Forte Shades of Jay was still able to win.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • 91.47 seems a lot higher when you’re on the losing side of it. And the Toyota Hall of Fame knows you know that.
  • Left Isaiah Crowell on the bench, where he scored 16.63 points and surpassed his scoring projection by 80.8%, the highest percentage of any player on the team.
  • The 2.73 points scored by Cole Beasley fell short of his 4.95-point projection, the third straight game where that has happened.
  • The WRs on NewEngland Deflators let them down, resulting in a 23.67 – 6.60 difference at the position.
  • It’s tough to win when your team leader gets embarrassed like this. At the QB position, NewEngland Deflators got outscored 15.90 – 5.60 by Forte Shades of Jay.

  • Forte Shades of Jay is in the basement in the standings for the 12th week this season.
