Rock Crushers Tramples Liberty City Outlaws, Moves to Third Place

Rock Crushers registered the second-highest score of the week and dismantled Liberty City Outlaws 136.67 to 90.52. It takes a true veteran to maintain focus throughout a season. Rock Crushers is whatever the opposite of that is, having dropped their last five. Liberty City Outlaws was led by the tag team of Derrick Henry, with 25.03 points, and DeMarco Murray, who scored 13.13. Rock Crushers (3-3, 656.42 points) climbs into third place while Liberty City Outlaws (1-5, 511.71 points) is still looking up at everyone from last place.

Smooth Moves by Rock Crushers

  • That’s one small victory for Rock Crushers. And one small step toward legendary status—in the Toyota Hall of Fame.
  • Mark Ingram seemed to take offense to this week’s projected points. He ranked seventh in the league in scoring and beat his scoring projection by 177.2%, the sixth-highest percentage in the league.
  • Took the Arizona Cardinals Defense out of the starting lineup, which scored 6.00 points on the bench, fewer than the starting DEF.
  • Leonard Fournette put the team on his back with 24.53 points, the seventh-highest score among RBs in the league this week.
  • With 21.18 points, Tom Brady ranked fifth in the league this week in scoring among QBs.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • Life, like Fantasy Football, is full of wins and losses. The Toyota Hall of Fame, however, is pretty much only full of wins.
  • Should’ve started Matthew Stafford, who underachieved, but still outscored the starting QB with 16.88 against a projected 19.01.
  • Picked up the Tennessee Titans Defense, which scored 3.00 points, just 28.8% of their scoring projection, which was the lowest percentage in the matchup.
  • Matt Ryan has now failed to reach his projection for five straight games. This week he scored 12.92 points versus a projected 21.36.
  • Mike Wallace was last in the matchup in scoring, finishing below his projection for the fourth time this season with 2.00 points against a projected 5.27.

What If

  • If Rock Crushers played Liberty City Outlaws every week, they would be 4-2 this season.
  • Besides Liberty City Outlaws, Rock Crushers would have defeated five other teams this week.
  • Had they played each other last week, Rock Crushers would have defeated Liberty City Outlaws 136.10 – 72.77.
  • Rock Crushers would be 3-2 if they played the same schedule as Liberty City Outlaws.
  • If Rock Crushers had played every team in the league each week, they would be 25-17.
  • Liberty City Outlaws would have lost to four other teams besides Rock Crushers this week.

  • Not going to name names, but some people here aren’t pulling their weight. Forget it, Tom Brady needs to step it up! He scored 21.18 points against a projected 27.33 in the win, and has now scored below his projection in three straight games.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • After any loss, it’s good to reflect on the choices you’ve made. One you’ll never regret is being a Toyota Hall of Famer.

  • We don’t condone cheating, but this group of wide receivers might want to spray Stickum on their gloves. The 4.51 total points by the WRs on Forte Shades of Jay was their lowest WR output this season.
  • The 31.47 points by the WRs on NewEngland Deflators was the season-high for combined points from the position.
