NewEngland Deflators, with “Eye of the Tiger” playing in the background, registered the highest score of the season and destroyed Millennium Falcons 143.13 to 90.90, overcoming a 14.51-point spread. This is the kind of victory the grandchildren will hear about. The 52.23-point margin of victory was the second-highest recorded in the league this season. The Los Angeles Rams Defense led Millennium Falcons with 20.00 points while Cam Newton racked up 16.60. NewEngland Deflators (3-1, 483.32 points) climbs into second place while Millennium Falcons (1-3, 400.14 points) steps into sixth place.

Smooth Moves by NewEngland Deflators

  • A higher score than your opponent is a guaranteed way to win each week. Thank the Toyota Hall of Fame for that valuable insight.
  • Derek Carr had 31.76 points, the third-highest QB score of the week and the ninth-highest QB score in the league this season.
  • With 20.00 points, the Denver Broncos Defense was the top-scoring DEF of the week.
  • Isaiah Crowell felt like the Rodney Dangerfield of football, ‘no respect at all’ with this week’s projected points. He scored the eighth-most points in the league and beat his projected point total by 144.0%, the seventh-highest percentage in the league.
  • Michael Crabtree laughed in the face of the experts this week, beating his scoring projection by a matchup-leading 229.7% and scoring the 10th-most points in the league with 23.87 points.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • Don’t worry, Millennium Falcons, the Toyota Hall of Fame says losing isn’t contagious. But it is embarrassing. And you should be embarrassed.
  • Did not start Will Fuller, who scored 17.40 points, surpassing his projected points by 188.1%, the fifth-highest percentage in the league.
  • Picked up Hunter Henry but left him on the bench, where he scored 10.07 points against a projected 5.79.
  • Odell Beckham Jr. had two season-lows this week. He scored a season-low 1.53 points and recorded only 15.8% of his 9.70-point projection.
  • Rob Gronkowski was last on the team in scoring with 0.73 points against a projected 7.29 and underachieved for the second time this season.

  • If NewEngland Deflators played Millennium Falcons every week, they’d be 3-1 this season.

Syracuse Express left it all on the field in this one and registered the second-highest point total this season to crush Liberty City Outlaws 142.95 to 98.76. Is this fantasy football or mixed martial arts? Because this 44.19-point margin of victory was nothing short of a beatdown and was the fourth-highest recorded in the league this season. Liberty City Outlaws was led by the tag team of Ezekiel Elliott, with 26.07 points, and Steve Smith Sr., who scored 18.40. To make matters worse, Liberty City Outlaws had a starter score zero points (Stephen Gostkowski). Liberty City Outlaws (3-1, 463.58 points) drops to third place while Syracuse Express (2-2, 496.09 points) remains in fourth place.

Smooth Moves by Syracuse Express

  • The Toyota Hall of Fame would have its eyes on you for this week’s win. But the Toyota Hall of Fame doesn’t have eyes. Obviously.
  • Made a good move in sitting Jerick McKinnon this week. He brought in 15.17 points, the fewest of any RB on the team.
  • Miss Cleo, is that you? The 15.00 points scored by the Seattle Seahawks Defense, which Syracuse Express picked up this week, beat their projected point total of 10.85 by 38.2%.
  • Syracuse Express is either a fortune teller or really knows their stuff. Terrelle Pryor Sr., who was picked up by Syracuse Express, scored 8.47 points against a projected 6.36, topping his projection by 33.2%.
  • There are rumors that the military wants to model a new all-terrain vehicle based off of DeMarco Murray. He had the fourth-highest score among RBs in the league this week with 23.10 points.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • 142.95 seems a lot higher when you’re on the losing side of it. And the Toyota Hall of Fame knows you know that.
  • Should have started the Cincinnati Bengals Defense, which beat their scoring projection with 18.00 points against a projected 10.58.
  • A heated blanket would be a great gift for Brandin Cooks during this cold streak. He scored below his projection in three straight games after scoring 2.07 points against a projected 8.23 this week.
  • The best offense is a good defense. Liberty City Outlaws got beat 15.00 – 7.00 by Syracuse Express at the DEF position.
  • It’s times like these when it’s important to support your players when they’re down. So move the mouse pointer away from the DROP button. The Arizona Cardinals Defense scored a season-low 7.00 points, 70.6% of their projected 9.91, which is their lowest percentage of the year.

What If

  • If Syracuse Express played Liberty City Outlaws every week, they would be 2-2 this season.
  • Besides Liberty City Outlaws, Syracuse Express would have defeated five other teams this week.
  • Syracuse Express would be 2-1 if they played the same schedule as Liberty City Outlaws.
  • If Syracuse Express had played every team in the league each week, they would be 16-12.

  • The margin of victory of 44.19 points was the biggest of the season for Syracuse Express and fourth-largest in the league this season.
  • Liberty City Outlaws could not extend their three-game win streak.
  • Liberty City Outlaws had 98.76 points, their season-low.
  • Just because Robert Horry has seven NBA championship rings, doesn’t mean he’s one of the greats. Despite being on the winning team, Jeremy Maclin scored 5.20 points against a projected 8.46 and has now underachieved in three straight games.

Julio Jones, whose 39.00 points were the third-highest point total by a player this week, carried Hulk Smash past Forte Shades of Jay 130.82 to 87.66. The winless 2008 Lions aren’t role models, but no one tell that to Forte Shades of Jay. They have yet to crack the win column this year. Andrew Luck led Forte Shades of Jay with 16.66 points while Brandon Marshall racked up 11.93. Hulk Smash (2-2, 459.58 points) remains in fifth place while Forte Shades of Jay (0-4, 384.15 points) stays in the cellar.

Smooth Moves by Hulk Smash

  • If this were a dream sequence, you’d hear a deep voice announce, “Hulk Smash, the Toyota Hall of Famer.” But it’s not.
  • Jordan Reed scored 16.87 points, the best TE score of the week and the third-highest TE score in the league this season.
  • See what happens when you keep the laces out? Adam Vinatieri scored 12.00 points, the highest K score in the league this week.
  • Julio Jones ranked third in the league in scoring and had the highest output of any player on Hulk Smash this season with 39.00 points.
  • Sat Travis Benjamin, who scored fewer points than any WR in the starting lineup with 0.20.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • Some teams are destined to beat teams like Forte Shades of Jay and move on to Toyota Hall of Fame greatness. Ironically, you are included in that destiny, because you played yourself.
  • Did not start Philip Rivers, who led the team in scoring with 18.84 points.
  • Giovani Bernard, who Forte Shades of Jay picked up this week, scored below his 8.72-point projection with 3.40 points.
  • The 16.66 points scored by Andrew Luck fell short of his 24.78-point projection, the third straight game where that has happened.
  • It was not a good week for Forte Shades of Jay at TE, where they were beaten 16.87 – 7.53.

  • If Hulk Smash played Forte Shades of Jay every week, they’d be 4-0 this year.
  • Besides Forte Shades of Jay, Hulk Smash would have defeated four other teams this week.
  • Had they played each other last week, Hulk Smash would have defeated Forte Shades of Jay 109.11 – 105.51.

Rock Crushers is putting the rest of the league to shame with their undefeated record. Georgia Bullies, coming off a 114.93 to 105.51 win against Forte Shades of Jay, saw their scoring shrink this week. Things could have been different, Georgia Bullies had two starters score zero points (Justin Forsett and the Kansas City Chiefs Defense). Georgia Bullies (1-3, 386.54 points) drops to seventh place and Rock Crushers (4-0, 458.15 points) remains in first place.

Smooth Moves by Rock Crushers

  • Rock Crushers scored massive brownie points with the Toyota Hall of Fame this week. Too bad brownie points don’t count as real points. Not that you need help.
  • Greg Olsen had 13.07 points, the second-highest TE score of the week and the fifth-highest TE score in the league this season.
  • Rock Crushers won despite having only 2 of their 10 starters exceed their projected points.
  • Christine Michael led the team in scoring for the first time this season with 13.93 points.
  • Rock Crushers won even though all three of their WRs scored below their projected points.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • Next week, be sure to ask Rock Crushers where official Toyota Hall of Fame articles are kept.
  • Picked up Martellus Bennett but left him on the bench, where he scored 12.27 points and exceeded his scoring projection by 245.6%, the second-highest percentage in the league.
  • Could’ve started Eli Manning, who underachieved, but still had more points than the starting QB with 9.44 against a projected 20.43.
  • Jason Witten scored 3.13 points against a projected 4.95 and has now underachieved in every game this season.
  • Lost the matchup despite getting Rock Crushers on their lowest-scoring week of the season.

  • If Rock Crushers played Georgia Bullies every week, they’d be 4-0 this year.
