Hulk Smash got 26.60 points from Spencer Ware and 21.13 from Carlos Hyde to beat Millennium Falcons 121.36 to 100.88. Hulk Smash came into the Monday night game facing a 3.92-point deficit, but scored 25.40 for the comeback. Even though both teams met their expectations, Hulk Smash put up 8.9% more than their projected 111.42 points to secure the win. Millennium Falcons was led by the tag team of Cam Newton, with 21.16 points, and Dan Bailey, who scored 17.00. Hulk Smash starts the season with a 1-0 record, good enough for third place. Millennium Falcons opens at 0-1 and in eighth place.

Smooth Moves by Hulk Smash

  • If Hulk Smash can win once, they can do it again. Right? They’d better. The Toyota Hall of Fame is watching.
  • Shipped in the mercenaries, picking up Spencer Ware which scored 26.60 points to lead the matchup.

Liberty City Outlaws has to be feeling good about their squad after they got the second-highest score in the league this week, taking down Forte Shades of Jay 121.82 to 114.20. Even though both teams hit their projections, Liberty City Outlaws scored 19.0% more than their projected 102.33 points to secure the win. With 41.50 points, Andrew Luck wound up producing the highest score in the league this week. Liberty City Outlaws kicks off the season with a 1-0 record, good enough for second place. Forte Shades of Jay opens at 0-1 and in fifth place.

Smooth Moves by Liberty City Outlaws

  • Liberty City Outlaws scored massive brownie points with the Toyota Hall of Fame this week. Too bad brownie points don’t count as real points. Not that you need help.

  • Sometimes 114.20 is enough. Unfortunately, the Toyota Hall of Fame has confirmed this time it’s a smaller number than 121.82.
  • Dwayne Allen was left on the bench, where he bested his expected 5.71-point total by putting up 11.53 points.
  • Of the 10 starters on Forte Shades of Jay, 6 underperformed versus their projections.
  • Todd Gurley fell short of his scoring projection with 4.37 points, just 30.5% of his projected 14.31.
  • All four of the starting WRs scored below their projected points.

What If

  • Besides Forte Shades of Jay, Liberty City Outlaws would have defeated five other teams this week.

NewEngland Deflators got 33.17 points from DeAngelo Williams and 25.80 from Ben Roethlisberger, edging Georgia Bullies 118.87 to 113.91. NewEngland Deflators came into the Monday night game facing a 54.01-point deficit, but scored 58.97 for the comeback. Both teams hit their projections, but NewEngland Deflators picked up the win even while Georgia Bullies put up a solid effort and scored 23.9% more than their projected 91.96 points. Georgia Bullies was led by the tag team of A.J. Green, with 31.00 points, and Eli Manning, who scored 22.28. NewEngland Deflators (1-0) starts the season in fourth place while Georgia Bullies (0-1) begins in sixth place.

Smooth Moves by NewEngland Deflators

  • Sometimes 113.91 is enough. Unfortunately, the Toyota Hall of Fame has confirmed this time it’s a smaller number than 118.87.
  • Missed an opportunity by leaving Matthew Stafford on the bench. He scored 31.10 points, the fifth-highest score in the league this week.
  • Whoever gave you this advice, you might want to lose their number. Picked up and started Justin Forsett, who then scored below his 6.93-point projection with 5.10 points.
  • Georgia Bullies lost despite having only 5 of their 10 starters score less than their projected points.
  • Jarvis Landry fell short of his scoring projection with 3.93 points, just 50.2% of his projected 7.83.

What If

  • Besides Georgia Bullies, NewEngland Deflators would have defeated three other teams this week.
  • If NewEngland Deflators had scored 8.27 more points, they would have beaten all teams in the league this week.

There’s a lot of talk at the water cooler this morning about the performance of Rock Crushers this past weekend. Rightfully so, as they got the highest score in the league this week and took down Syracuse Express 127.13 to 108.88. Even Pat Benatar would have been proud of how these two teams hit each other with their best shots. Both sides met their expectations, but Rock Crushers put up 26.1% more points than projected to earn the win. For Syracuse Express, Antonio Brown and DeMarco Murray played the roles of Maverick and Goose, scoring 25.40 and 15.53 points, respectively. Rock Crushers starts off the season with a 1-0 record, good enough for first place. Syracuse Express begins at 0-1 and in seventh place.

  • A higher score than your opponent is a guaranteed way to win each week. Thank the Toyota Hall of Fame for that valuable insight.
  • With 23.00 points, the Minnesota Vikings Defense was the top-scoring DEF of the week.
  • With 26.56 points, Aaron Rodgers had the 10th-highest score in the league this week.
  • With 17.40 points, Larry Fitzgerald ranked sixth in the league in scoring among WRs this week.

  • It’s tough to win when your team leader gets embarrassed like this. At the QB position, Syracuse Express got outscored 26.56 – 10.28 by Rock Crushers.
  • Even though Syracuse Express lost, only 4 of their 10 starters scored less than their projected points.

What If

  • Rock Crushers would’ve been undefeated if they played every team in the league this week.
  • Rock Crushers would have had to score 26.26 fewer points to lose to all teams in the league this week.
  • Besides Rock Crushers, Syracuse Express would have been defeated by five other teams this week.
